River in a desert

The Agriates Desert is not fully dry. There are a couple of rivers there and this is one of them, the Vaghio river. It is salt and very shallow, even in Spring.

I took the photo close to the Vaghio river's mouth to the Gulf of Saint Florent in April 2006.
